Back To Macau!

Back To Macau!

We couldn’t be more excited to be going back to…. well, home! In the last 2 years, Macau has been the place where we spent most of our time, experiencing some of the most exciting moments of my poker career and of our life as well.

Unfortunately, the visa requirements are quite strict for Americans: we are given 30 days before we need to reset our visa and then we get another 20 day and 10 day extension. This rule has made our lives a little crazy, forcing us to travel all the time we can’t spend in Macau. Each visa renewal is a new venture, a new country to visit and call home for a bit… And then, again, it’s time for Macau, the thrill for the biggest poker games in the world and the simple excitement for going back to our house and routine.

In 24 hours we’ll be back there. Another adventure is about to start. Wish me luck and… I’ll keep you posted!

Trickett has been struggling to get in the games Alec, you might need some luck just to get a seat. Would be interested to hear some updates

Good articles on your blog! Which is the best Macau casino for low stakes hold'em?

      Hi Rob,
Thanks a lot I appreciate that. Since the Venetian closed its poker room, to be honest the only places to play are the Wynn and Starworld. Both offer a HKD $25/$50 game, which is roughly $3/$6 NL. Hope that helps!

how is the plo games there, run 5-10(in dollar or euro):)?

    • Alec Torelli February 3, 2014 9:05 am

      Hey Razvan,
PLO doesn't run that often to be honest, and I don't play much either so I don't monitor the games. That being said, when it does run I believe it's 200/500 (translates €20/€50), but again that's probably once or twice a week max. Not sure how great it is either. Probably not too special :/
Sorry mate, wish I could be more help!
      Alec
